We’re always happy to welcome new patients to our office. To help put you at ease, we’ve put together the information below so you know exactly what to expect during your first visit.

What to Expect

A new patient reviews paperwork with dental hygienist during initial visit.

Your first visit is all about us getting to know each other. The appointment will take approximately 90 minutes. During that time we’ll take clinical photographs of your teeth, a series of full mouth X-rays, and perform a periodontal exam to check for gingivitis and periodontal disease. Your first visit does not include a teeth cleaning. Instead, we use this appointment to determine the type of cleaning you need and how long it will take to clean your teeth. We’ll then schedule your cleaning appointment based on what we find.

At the end of your first visit, we’ll review the results of your exam and X-rays with you. If we see any issues that need to be taken care of, we’ll put together a treatment plan detailing what needs to be done, the cost of the procedure(s), and approximately how many visits it will take to treat the problem. We’ll also be happy to address any questions or concerns you might have.

After not seeing a dentist for over 10 years, I chose Carl’s team to put me back on track. I am so pleased and could not have made a better decision. They have provided me with a continuing health care plan and a solution to restore my smile. I thank them for their professionalism and caring, which is few and far between. The entire team is awesome. If you have dental issues, this is the place to go.

Forms to Complete & Bring Along

Save yourself some time on the day of your appointment. Print and complete the appropriate forms below before your first visit.

Dental Care That Fits Your Budget

We’re committed to making dental care affordable for all of our patients. However, sometimes making a single payment for certain services can deter you from proceeding with treatment. That’s why we work with all insurance companies and offer low-cost payment options for our patients.

Accepted Insurances

We can send claims to any insurance provider, although your plan may require you to see a participating dentist. We do not participate exclusively with any dental insurances.

Flexible Financing Options

If you don’t have dental insurance, we offer an in-house, three-months-same-as-cash payment plan for our established patients.

We also work with CareCredit®, which is a company patients can apply to for help with dental, vision, health, and pet care costs. You can apply right in our office. Depending on the amount you spend per visit, you can receive anywhere from 6-18 months interest-free financing towards your dental bills.

If you have any questions or concerns before your first appointment, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We’re happy to answer any of your questions to ensure you’re comfortable when you visit our office. We can’t wait to see you!
